FIDE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
To kick off Guess Chess with a bang and make the most of the biggest chess event of the year, we’ve organised a special tournament with up to $11,000 in prizes! What’s more, it’s completely free to play! During FIDE World Championship matches, all points scored across each user’s top 5 games will be added up to give a total score. These totals will be sent to the leaderboard where players will compete against each other, and there will also be individual prizes for each game.

COMPETITION RULES
  1. 1. All users wishing to participate can do so completely free of charge. In order to do this, however, they must have a registered account on guesschess.com and be of legal age to play.
  2. 2. Each user will get a total score, pulled from their top 5 scores of the FIDE World Championship games they have participated in. If a user has participated in five or fewer games, their score will be the total of these game scores.
  3. 3. Each person may have one user account only. Any attempt to enter tournaments with multiple user accounts will result in disqualification.
  4. 4. Prizes for the general leaderboard will be distributed as follows:

  6. 5. As well as the prizes for the general leaderboard, each game will also see prizes given to the top 5 scorers. These will be distributed as follows:

  8. 6. The distribution of prizes, both from individual games and the general leaderboard, will take place once the FIDE World Championship has come to a close. The GuessChess team will contact all prize winners on the email address linked to their account.
  9. 7. Prizes can be claimed in USD or in the cryptocurrency ETH, at the user’s request.
  10. 8. The tournament will come to an end as soon as there are no more games to be played, regardless of whether the maximum of 14 has been reached.
